Jim has over 25 years of international experience across corporate travel, commercial payments, and financial services. He began his career with American Express, where he worked in both the travel and payments divisions across the APAC region, and has since held senior client-facing roles with Citibank, Hogg Robinson Group and Discover Global Network, focusing on commercial growth and partner engagement across the Asia territory.

With a background that bridges both supplier and buyer perspectives, Jim has supported regional and global travel programs for clients in professional services, banking, and the public sector. His work includes strategic advisory on program design, supplier negotiations, RFPs, and integrating payments into travel workflows to improve control, data visibility, and working capital.

Jim currently consults on commercial strategy and go-to-market initiatives in the payments and travel space, helping clients navigate change and unlock greater value from their spend. He is a graduate of the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma and brings strong governance, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities to his engagements.

Originally from the UK, Jim has been based in Hong Kong since 1996, He is also a published composer and performer and organizer of music events that benefit local charities.
