VP Strategic Meetings Management

Bringing over 25 years of conference and event planning, strategic meeting management, marketing and operational experience to the firm, Melissa Gain is the company's Vice President of Meetings and Events. Prior to joining PTC, Melissa established her own independent planning firm, True North Event Management, a full-service meeting planning company that specializes in site selection, contract negotiations, on-site meeting management, budgeting, registration and more.

As an independent planner, Melissa has spent the majority of her time consulting for The BTN Group, collaborating on over 30 annual meetings and events within the travel industry market. Melissa also works with Anthem, Inc. consulting on their Northeast’s Broker Symposiums and face-to-face internal events.

Prior to forming her own business, Melissa started her career working in the B2B publishing industry, for companies including Miller Freeman Inc., CMP Media and VNU/Nielson.

Melissa holds a BA in Business/Psychology from the College of Mt. St. Vincent and is currently pursuing her CMP designation this summer.
Melissa currently resides in New Jersey with her two teenage children.
