Jim Wilkins is a highly regarded travel industry veteran who brings 30 years of experience in travel management and the aviation businesses. He has the proven leadership skills to be effective in the managed travel industry and has deep experience with contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.

 

Jim was a senior leader with WarnerMedia/Turner Broadcasting for the past 13 years. He was responsible for a dynamic global travel program that specialized in the entertainment vertical and he led a large team managing the travel category for all Turner networks including TNT, TBS, TruTV, TCM, Cartoon Network, CNN, Bleacher Report, Turner Sports and original programming businesses. 

 

Before joining Turner Jim spent 17 years working for a global airline based in the US with experience from operations to global sales managing $200 million in corporate revenue. 

 

Jim is very generous in giving back to the industry. He has been on numerous BTN buyer panels. He is a past president of the Georgia BTA and served for six years on the Board of Directors. Additionally, he served on the Global Business Travel Association Aviation and Bylaw Committees, each for two years. Last year he completed his 3rd term serving on the GBTA Foundation Board and GBTA named him the 2016 Buyer of the Year. 

 

Jim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and resides in Atlanta and is married to his beautiful wife Niki of 14 years they have a 11-year-old son named Jayden.
